Creating an iPad design on Illustrator is very simple and once you get the hang of everything it is easy to create navigation is different shapes and forms. I am going to explain how to create a simple PLAY button for my slideshow.
- Any visual element you create will always sit on top of the slideshow. First you need to create a play button, to do this all you need to do is grab a text box, write PLAY inside and take a triangle to make the image.
- Group these elements together to create your final design for the play button and move it to where you want it to be on the slideshow.
- As your slideshow is already set to ‘click to play’ you dont need to activate any buttons. As the audience can click anywhere on the click show to pay it, the PLAY button is just an image sitting on top – this makes it clever for you to create anything graphic in its place.
- To make sure that your play button is hidden when the slideshow begins you need to select from the right hand side menu ‘hide before playing’. This will make the slideshow come to the front.
